Vacation!!

As of today, school is over. That means Summer Vacation!
I will be gone from June 11-25, plus a few other weeks which I'm not sure of. I won't be able to do challenges for the Amazing Lace or post here while I'm on vacation, unless I find some internet access (which I doubt). I will be working on my WIPs!

As Promised

FBS done, unblocked
Flower Basket Shawl #1, unblocked.
(Why #1? I'm planning to make another soon. Don't tell anyone.)

Done!

10 repeats for a pretty small shawl, smaller than the "small shawl" and larger than the "shoulder shawl."
Forget "knitting an FBS in SoCal, North Carolina, and my backyard" and change it to "wearing an FBS in SoCal, North Carolina, and my backyard." By the way: The highlights of my lace's social life were going to Pomo Canyon, and to church. No pictures from either. And it didn't even go outside. It missed out...

Currently wanting:
Mason-Dixon Knitting. They had it at Costco, and I managed to leaf through it before we had to go. And it was only $19 instead of the retail price of $30, but I didn't have any money. (Even if I did, it would have gone to my "iPod fund".)

A finished FBS.

Lorna's Laces! Koigu! STR! Sock yarn in general! (Speaking of, I'm returning the pretty red Opal yarn I got a few weeks ago because of this. I looked on the label and it said "Made in South Africa." It made me feel sick.)

The new BMFA website. When will it go up? I know, they've put up new colorways and stuff, but...I'm impatient...

Oh yeah, and an iPod (either nano or mini), which is currently at the top of my "must have" list. (The list doesn't include knitting stuff. Currently, LL is at the top of my must-have knitting list.)

The Flower Basket Shawl has just under 9 repeats of the lace pattern done. I now have about 250 sts, and let's just say the rows are getting a little tedious. But it's still fun. I'm basically zooming through it, I'm almost done! Pictures coming soon!
