i finally used my cashmerino! i made a little scarf-lette thing (it's maybe two feet long). it's fat and ribbed and short and i love it. pics coming soon :D
no other progress though. i've decided to take on my wips one at a time. first on the list are anna's rainbow socks, which i want to be done for xmas. i knit the first one in about a week, so that shouldn't be a problem. pics for this one also coming soon. :D yay.

I'm back...actually a little more than back....but here's my update. No pictures yet. They'll come soon...I hope...but you know me.

Progress:
Black fishnets: none. I finished the one, and haven't started the other yet. Actually I'm not sure why the progress bar says 53%. I guess I'll go change that now.
Okay, I'm back. And I just realized that I did in fact start the second. I guess I'll go fix the progress bar again.
I'm not knitting these partly because I'm really not enjoying knitting with Fixation, and partly because I was kidding myself that I didn't know where SnB Nation was. But I know it's in my backpack, so scratch that. I also just don't like stretchy yarns. Whatever.

Garter stitch cowl: not too much. I realize I've never posted a picture of that, but that's ok. It's just expanses of black acrylic garter stitch. Not too hard to imagine. I have no clue when I'm going to finish this. Whatever.

Hedera: I'm still on the first sock. Actually still on the heel decreases. I feel really crappy about that because it was my Amazing Lace project. I thought knitting with Trekking would be great, but I realize now that I picked the wrong yarn for a lace sock. Whatever.

Sew? I Knit! along: I have not done anything for this kal. I don't know why. I like to sew. Whatever.

Stashbusters: Whatever.

Right now, I think I'm kind of burned-out on knitting. Hopefully soon I'll realize that I miss it and come back. For now, though, I'm not really knitting at all.

Other news: Today is my first blogiversary! *yay me!*
Also, I'm getting into photography. And by photography, I don't mean the cruddy pictures I took when we first got our new camera. I'm using my mom's old film Canon Rebel (I would use digital, but I would want a really nice digital camera, like, you know, with the big lens and all the options and stuff, but those are pretty expensive) and some of the pictures I took on Tuesday are actually kind of nice! yay! :)

So... I hope I'll start posting regularly. By the way, I posted 20 times last December, 10 times in July, once in September.......I'm pathetic.

I'm like, 2 inches from the toe on Hedera...still the *first* sock....I've been working on this dang thing since early June...

I've making plain toe up ribbed socks for Anna with her LL. I finished the first (and they're knee socks) in like a week. They're seriously knitting themselves.

No progress on the fishnets....

Less than a week left on SP8. I'm hoping we can get our last package in on time.

I'm making slow but steady progress on the Hedera socks. (I'm just past the gusset decreases on the first one...sigh...I started them over a month ago. I just kinda stopped knitting for like, two weeks.

I bought a skein of LL Shepherd Sport on clearance ($7) and I'm wondering what pattern to use. Anna also bought a skein and wants me to make socks for her. ideas?

I'm also gone Aug. 6-12.

Mason-Dixon Knitting. They had it at Costco, and I managed to leaf through it before we had to go. And it was only $19 instead of the retail price of $30, but I didn't have any money. (Even if I did, it would have gone to my "iPod fund".)

Lorna's Laces! Koigu! STR! Sock yarn in general! (Speaking of, I'm returning the pretty red Opal yarn I got a few weeks ago because of this. I looked on the label and it said "Made in South Africa." It made me feel sick.)

Well, yesterday was the start of the Amazing Lace. I woke up at about 7:45 and started knitting my FBS. So far, it's an enjoyable, fun knit. Let's see what I think about it when I have over 250 stitches--a first for me--:O

Whew...a lot of blog catching-upping to do here. I've been on vacation and just came back...yes, Hyampom again. This time, the river was down a lot and we could actually swim without drowning (if, of course, we didn't mind hypothermia instead). I finished the second RHSS. Pictures to come soon.

Yarn: Three Sisters Yarn Haindpainted Sock in Neon Sunset, aka my hand dyed yarn. My first attempt at dyeing yarn and I think it turned out really good. I like the self-stripiness.

Needles: Homemade US2 bamboo needles (kabob skewers...gotta be resourceful)

I finished the second sockapaloooza sock yesterday...and stupidly left it at church. Luckily, my dad goes to work on Tuesdays near the church, so he'll pick them up for me then. I'll just have to mail them a day late. I hope that's ok.

No pictures today....but they'll come later. Right now I'm really busy and freaktired. (I like making up words that fit what I feel.)

Exhibit A. I finished the first sockapal000za sock, and am just past the heel on both my second sockpal sock and second RHSS sock. I'm using almost the same pattern for both (same lace and cable pattern, short row heel, but longer ankle length and a picot edge for the sockpal ones).

Exhibit B. Even though it really needs oiling and waxing and other adjustments, I've managed to spin a little on the new wheel. Well...new/old. We think it's a Sleeping Beauty wheel, manufactured by "I-forget-the-name-of-the-manufacturer" around 1975.
**Edit: Yesterday we had an Easter party at our house, and Justina, who is 5 years old, came into my room, saw the spinning wheel, and said "Emily, can you teach me how to spin string?" So I showed her how, and while she was spinning, she said "Where's the part where you can prick your finger and die?"

Exhibit C. I finished two small shawls which will soon be posted on Aqua-Star FOs. One is Mission Falls 1824 wool, and the other is random cheap stuff from the dollar store.

Ok, so you're probably wondering who Beula is. Well, she's the "alpaca lady of our dreams". We visited her for a while today. We met her alpacas (she has both Suris and Huacayas) and saw a ton of fiber and stuff. It was *so* *freakin* *awesome*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She also gave us a TON of stuff. Wanna see? Yeah, I thought so. Go check out Katie's post! Here's a hint: it includes a spinning wheel (yes, she GAVE us a spinning wheel) and some Suri fiber. Go look. Now. You won't regret. I promise. And you'll wanna TOUCH that fiber through the monitor. If I could make that any easier for you, I would, but it'll kind of be hard to reach all the way to Northern California if you live in Alabama or Rhode Island (hehe). For now, four words. It. Is. So. SOFT.

I updated with some yummy yarn. (No, it's mostly not acrylic, even if that's the latest post. Actually, it's mostly merino wool.) I also have yet to put up pictures of the Fixation and Cashmerino. I'm not sure where they went. The pictures I mean, not the yarn. (That would be my worst nightmare. Losing? Cashmerino? As in, losing nine dollars? hehe)

We just got back from a trip to our vacation house in Hyampom. Anna had some fun with my laptop in the car.

I also took a crappy picture of the start of my sockpal sock. I like the blocks of primary colors at the heel. I hope my sockpal does too. :)

And some pictures out the window, which are of course also crappy.

Once we got there, there was this to look at in the backyard.

The river was, as always, nice to look at. (It's not this high in summer, obviously.)

Note that I have kindly chosen the picture which does not show all the silt and branches, etc, left by the river. Maybe this does it a bit more justice. I didn't take a picture of all the stuff on the bank, though. I forgot. Sorry.

And, call me weird, I love the colors of this tree fungus.

*Edit*. Happy April, :) time for YELLOW AND ORANGE! No, I did not make anything pink or red for Project Spectrum last month, unless you count this one sock, finished last night. It's also yellow and orange, which make it count for Month 2, just not as much.

Yes, that's another short row heel. I'm a convert. So what if there are holes on the side. I like them (yes, I said I like holes on the side of my heel, they're cute.)

I stepped outside this morning and was greeted with this.

So I proceeded to walk around the front yard.

Than I walked around to the edge of the road. The little creek which you can kind of see (a low spot in the pic above, behind the tree) flows into this.

Then I decided to go see what was happening in the backyard.

it was fun snapping these

and then got back inside.

OK. Now that I've finished the mini Ruffles and the Baby Kid Extra scarf (blocking -- pix soon!), I can get going on some other things from my to do list.
First up: pink LCS for my little sister. I got this far last night.

Yes, that's a short row heel you're seeing. It was just so much faster than a heel flap, and she doesn't care if there are cables on the heel or not. I should finish these pretty soon, then I can work on some other projects to cross off the list.

In other news, a week ago Anna decided to make an Olympic scarf. (On size fifteen needles that is.)

Here she is finishing it up on Saturday night.

She made it by with this much yarn left.

Here's the Rogue. Finished last night, pictures this morning.

Don't bother me about the side panel, I didn't repeat rows 33-38 so I had to think of something. All in all, since I've never really done cables like this before (excluding the small swatch of the side panel I did a few months ago), I'm forgiving myself for all the cable mess ups.

Specs:

Needles: US5(?) Boye
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in black
Mods: Made it a kids' 8 (approx)

I truly thought that this was going to be impossible, but now I know that I can knit a sweater in two weeks. And not just a sweater, but a sweater with time consuming boring stockinette (time consuming because I sort of feel crappy about haveing to do lazy stockinette so I put it off) and time consuming FUNFUNFUN cables. Next time, I'll do the sleeves first, to get them over with and out of the way. That way I'll end with the hood, which was my favorite part.

I wish the Olympics were longer. Not the Knitting Olympics, but I love watching TV for a reason, ha ha! Now I'll just knit. And why did I just say ha ha?

Let's see...

1. Buy more yarn for Rogue and finish the first, and start and finish the second sleeve. I just ran out of the second skein. (Yes you heard me. Second skein. Simply soft has like 400 yards.) Six dollar sweater.
2. Sockapaloooza socks in Color Your Own, which should be arriving soon.
3. Red-Hot-Sizzling-Socks in Sock Garden in Zinnia, which also should be arriving soon. (Yeah. I placed an order on knitpicks and didn't tell my blog. :P!)
4. Pink log cabin socks for Anna. She asked for them right after I finished mine. Maybe I'm a little overdue.
5. Pink tank top with Sugar'n Cream. I'm planning to make two sizes, 2-4 and 6 in the pink, and variegated S'nC, and (cc2) yellow Lion Cotton, and buy two more balls of S'nC in more "grown up" colors to make size 8.
6. Finish the mini Ruffles and lacy scarf.
7. Get an etsy shop for the Three Sisters, and put stuff in it. (FUN!) (edit: at least getting the shop is checked off. now we just have to put stuff in it. more later.)
8. Design more stuff for The Three Sisters' knitting book. (IMPORTANT.)
9. Make a baby sweater for Anna's friend Emilia's baby brother, the cutest baby on earth (or close to it). His first birthday is in two months and I think I'll make the placket neck sweater from LMKG.
10. Make fuzzy socks for Kylie in Lu Lu. Also overdue.
11. Make a second Rogue in the 35.5" size and make sure my gauge is RIGHT not one full stitch off. (I WANT to make a Rogue that actually fits. I LOVE Rogue.)
12. Make Mariah but with a square collar and continous braid on the sleeves. (Not important right now, but it's such a cute design.)

BTW, I took some pictures of the rogue progress but I haven't put them on the computer. Will do later. :)

I just made one. It's still under construction, it's a home page for my sisters and I to show off (or possibly sell) our handspun/handdyed yarns, and other things as well. I'm thinking about also possibly getting an etsy account to sell our yarn. This is really fun, and I love yahoo pagebuilder! :D (Especially how every time you click "Contact Us" it has a different subject, like on the homepage, it comes up saying "I clicked your 'Contact Us' link!" -- one of my favorites. That's a trick I learned from Danielle. [she didn't tell me, I just figured it out.] I'm also using it on Team Rogue and my blogger profile.)

OK, I posted about my Sockapaloooza plans, but it's not going to work out, because the KP Palette doesn't have quite the right colors for the Tiptoe socks (sorry Stephanie!). So I think I'm going to go with Sock Memories or Sock Landscape and make up my own pattern. I'm not sure what colorway I'll go with. Any suggestions?

****Update: Another change of plans. I'm just gonna go with Color Your Own, because when it's hand dyed, it's a lot more special. :) Also, it has awesome yardage -- 440 yards for $3.99!
Oh, and speaking of good yardage, I'm about 3.5" from the end of the second Secret Birthday Sock, and I'm only just now running out of yarn. Now if I had made the cuffs a little shorter...jk...7 inches is good. :)

Needles: US1 Prym dpns
Other stuff: I made it a bobby sock, which I like. The reason I did that was to make the knitting shorter. I also changed the number of sts in between dec's/inc's to a little bit less, and then it was a little bit small, so I actually have more stockinette/sole sts then zigzag/instep sts. And of course I did my custom-fit toe. It's so amazing to wear socks that have been contoured to fit you.

Jaywalker update

Other news: I started a small lace scarf last night with my Baby Kid Extra. It's 20 sts on a size 10 needle. I've never knitted with laceweight before, so I'm still kinda getting the hang of it. I also started a half-size Ruffles scarf from Scarf Style. It's a pink and blue [at least part] cotton yarn (2 strands held tog) from the super assortment. It'll be used as a belt, most likely.

I haven't posted in a while.
Crap:
I ordered Knitting the Easy Way and Scarf Style from Barnes and Noble last week. They arrived yesterday :D. I recommend Knitting the Easy Way (a lesser known book....I don't think I really need to recommend Scarf Style) cuz' it's got pretty cool patterns. I want to make Backyard Leaves (Annie Modesitt) and the Blue Collar (Teva Durham) from Scarf Style. I'm not sure what I want to make from KTEW.

I bought Caron Simply Soft for Rogue a few days ago. It's got gauge, so now I just need to modify it to fit a ten-year-old (that's what size I'm making it in).

The Jaywalkers are progressing. I'm almost to the toe with the second sock. Of course I'm doing my fave "custom-fit" toe - that's that one where I try it on every couple rounds and decide how I want it to fit. This process, of course, involves multiple lifelines.

Remember when I posted about finding all the turn of the century magazines? Katie's making hundred year old recipes from it. A week or two ago, she made coconut cake; tonight we're eating gingersnap/molasses cookies.

I wonder when I'll get my Sockapaloooza buddy info.

Flood Knitting

Have you heard about some of the flooding in the area? It's awful.....but there are some things I'd like to share.
Exhibit A) There are piles of trash all over the place.
Exhibit B) There are old magazines like "Good Literature", "The People's Home Journal", and old McCalls magazines -- the oldest dating from 1895, the youngest 1953. And they're real. Absolutely real. Not copies. I mean, in the McCall's magazine, there are knitting patterns for, like, child harnesses/bridles/leashes. And apparently, they're even more fun if the kid can knit it himself!
And the prices are just amazing. Wow....I want to take some pictures.

Needles: Don't ask me...US4 or 5ish dpns. I had no brains when I made them and didn't write down the millimeterage.
Yarn: Don't ask me...some shiny DK yarn from the super assortment (same one from the Holiday Sweater). I like it.
Mods: I think I used a thinner yarn than recommended. I also did a different toe (it's too detailed to write down).

And a clarification to my last post: The second cranked out just as fast in knitting time. It's just that I paused for two days in between the start and finish date. (I started the first sock Tuesday.)

And yay for me...my gift certificate came yesterday! I'll spend around four hours at Knitterly. Very cool!

These weren't even on my 2006 knitting plan....they were just one of the patterns I wanted to try out sometime. But last night, after looking at the Handknit Holidays-along, and seeing all the beautiful socks, I caved. Well, not exactly. I stayed up late last night (ok, technically this morning) making them. Ahem...they're simple and addicting, and fast. Or just simply addicting and fast. I guess I'll update this post with pix sometime today. :)

**updated** OK, I just finished the first sock, but since the lighting will be crappy (it's now 6:00 in the middle of winter) I'll just post tomorrow. The second sock will probably be done by then anyway. Fast, easy, fun.

Dance Bag Done!

Here at last is my Christmas Rose dance bag. I finished around 11:30 this morning.
Pattern: Christmas Rose bag from Handknit Holidays
Needles: US9 and 7 Clover Bamboo
Yarn: Mainstays Crafts yarn in True Black, Red Heart Super Saver in Banana Berry
Mods: I used size 9 needles for the body instead of size 8, which was probably slightly responsible for the difference in my gauge (4.5 sts/in vs. 5.5 sts/in). I only casted on 80 sts. I also did less plain MC rnds, and made the ties shorter--19" instead of 36".

I'm pretty happy with the overall result. More detailed mods, etc. can be found at the Handknit Holidays-along.

I'm still working on my Christmas Rose bag 'cause I didn't get to all yesterday.

Here is some intended 2006 knitting...
First up on the list is Rogue. As soon as I pick out my yarn I'll be off. I've just joined the Rogue-Along so I'm ready.
Handknit Holidays stuff: I'm going to get some Plymouth Dreambaby 4-Ply for the Vintage Gloves. I really didn't feel like spending $20, so instead, I'll spend $8. Works for me.
I also want to try the Triangle Scarf. With some old LB Jamie last night, I tried a mini version, and realized just how much of a genius pattern it really is. (I knew it was a genius pattern before, I just didn't realize quite how much.)
Blu--If I didn't want to make Rogue so badly, this would be first on the list. As soon as I get my gift certificate, I'm going to go to Knitterly and get my yarn. And start making it the same day. And be so zealous that I'll finish the same day. Well....to make things a LITTLE bit more realistic, the next day. :)
Hopeful--this one's a maybe. I want to try it out, and I will if a find a cheap, good yarn. Maybe Plymouth Suri Merino, which is pretty cheap but still all natural fibers, or even better, Plymouth Encore, which is cheaper, has more yardage, and is still 25% wool. Reynolds Saucy is even more inexpensive and is all cotton, which would make for a nice summer top. Although of course the yarn should be more elastic than cotton. The sucker is I don't know how many balls I'll need of any yarn until I buy the pattern. RRR.
Clapotis is also a maybe...possibly in Reynolds Saucy? I don't need anything warm so cotton is fine with me. Or Plymouth Encore. I guess maybe those are my favorite cheap substitute yarns...because I don't want to spend $90.
That's not all I've been thinking about...but it's all I can remember. I hate when that happens. I guess I'll update this post when I do remember.

Oh, and add one more thing to my knitting wrap up: Thumbless Baby Mittens: 1 pair.

The Christmas Rose bag is progressing nicely. I'm knitting on it to keep awake. I'll probably finish tomorrow.

Oh--an 'oops' note...sorry for all the "Dulaan" misspellings. It was pointed out to me that it's actually Dulaan, not Dulann. (I do that a lot.)

So, I'm trying to free up room in my stash. Here's a list of ideas... and reality:

Christmas Rose bag - just about to pass the halfway point on the Fair Isle. Overall about 38% done.
Camera case - just for fun. We just got a new camera, but we'll buy a new case, for sturdiness. But I want to knit one, too.
Doll stuff for Anna. Any ideas?

We're all lounging by the fire, the Christmas lights on, inside and outside, with our pj's on, drinking hot chocolate, and in general having a good time.

Isn't it cute?

Here's a (very fuzzy) pic of Katie's spinning and my knitting. Left to right: rather scratchy but very nicely spun wool, ditto for the next tiny little hanks, then a little swatch of the yarn from the hanks. Then at the other end of the feel scale, WE HAVE A 100% ANGORA YARN. OMG is it ever soft. The wool (fleece? fur? or just angora?) was a gift from a friend, who raises rabbits and knows KT spins.

All the spinning is from a long time ago, but she recently brought it out again. The amazing thing is that it's so beautiful, but all of it was spun on a drop spindle. Well actually that ball of wool on the far left was wheel-spun, but come on, I think she was about 9 or 10 when she spun all this stuff. Isn't that just so cool? I always wanted her to teach me how to drop-spindle-spin, now that she's brought all the stuff out again, she probably will. She spins so nicely, beautiful thick-and-thin stuff.

And here is a cute little crocheted poncho (sorry Jessica) for Anna. It's RH Super Saver in Cherry Red. I am debating whether to call it "Diamondback Poncho" or "Basketball Hoop Poncho". You can tell why. Sort of. The picture sort of hides the diamond pattern look. But it's very cute.

I also would like to show you how festive K and A are. Anna and I made this and she put it up between their rooms.

Sorry I haven't posted. I haven't been able to get to the computer at all this week, and now I'm in a hotel room, on my laptop, with wireless internet, in LA. Not to mention the fact that I don't have a camera with me.

OK...Xmas knitting (more...yag), sweater unraveling, book recieving, etc, etc all happened in the last week.

1. Xmas Kuh-nitting
Like I said, (gah) I don't have a digicam w/me at the moment, so you will have to settle for words until Tues.
1st thing finished...I made a beeeeeeeautiful scarf for a friend of mine (who just so happens to be about seventy-something). It's made with Red Heart Plush in Light Berry and RH Foxy in some color that's just bout the exact same, but variegated (did that make sense?)
*updated* I gave it to her yesterday. She loved it!!!
Next...I made a minimini Christmas Rose bag as a gift for another friend. Probably it's only big enough to hold her cell phone and some loose cash, but she's only twelve. For those of you who have Handknit Holidays, (by Melanie Falick) here are my mods.
I used Red Heart Super Saver in Hunter Green (MC) and Cherry Red (CC) with size US5 dpns. Both the yarns were leftovers from other projects, and the needles were all I had free, so obviously I didn't get gauge. I couldn't check it anyway b/c I forgot where I had put the ruler (which turned up eventually...). As you can see, it was an extremely 'freelance' project. I only casted on 40 sts (two chart reps) so it would be small (it's for a twelve year old, it's probably only big enough to hold her cell phone and some loose change). For the part where the patt says k2MC, p2CC, I only did that for 3 rnds to make it shorter. I also did less rows whenever it said "work 2/3 rows MC", otherwise it would have been way too long. I did one pattern repeat, and then for the base, I decreased 4 times per rnd, so it ended up having a squarish base. I'm fine with that. I fingerknitted the ties to make it go faster, and all in all, it turned out pretty cute (and very small).
(BTW, this was copied off the Handknit Holidays blog, b/c I am so tired.)

2. Sweater Unraveling
I didn't unravel the crazy sweater because I realized it was basically 5 strands of thread knitted like yarn. I did, however, unravel a pink sweater, which I had been meaning to do anyway. I did a sleeve really quickly because I needed the yarn. The rest of the sweater followed shortly after, except for the back, which I kept b/c it was so soft. I'll probably find something to do with it. The rest of the yarn that I didn't use will be a Christmas gift for my sister. :) I did get before and after pix.

3. Book Recieving
Yesterday morning Handknit Holidays and Last Minute Knitted Gifts arrived. All I will say is, HH is probably now my fav. knitting book. It is so wonderful. I have several projects in line. LMKG is good, too. I got it mainly for the Hourglass Sweater patt, but all the others are wonderful, too.

Well that's all folks. I'm tired from being in a car (passenging?) for eight hours to get to LA. Even though that was yesterday I'm tired. I'm going to bed....bye-bye.

Though I am still not added to the ReKAL (and it makes sense, since it's ReKAL 2005 and hello, it's December already) I've still been ReKALing.
Starting today.

I picked up a crazy looking sweater at St. Vincent De Paul. Yes it's crazy looking but I think the colors will be nice[r] on their own.

The following items are all from stash. Except for the cardboard.
Here is my new sweater.

I am sorry this is such a crappy pic...
Pattern: Turtleneck Egg Cozy from Weekend Knitting
Yarn: Lamb's Pride Worsted in (hm lemme get the ball band, ok I'm back) Roasted Coffee
Needles: US5 Boye (*cough* I only have one pair of nice needles so I always use Boye because that's what I have)
Mods: I had a smaller gauge (5.5 sts/in instead of 4 sts/in, but that was good b/c I didn't want a very big sweater) so I had knit shorter lengths, obviously. I also only did a crew neck instead of a turtleneck. I also made bell sleeves to make it more 'girly'.
When I blocked it, I used cardboard. Stupid. Never ever do this...this is how it came out.

(That stuff on the bottom right is where I poked in all the pins after the sweater was done blocking.)
Here is a pic of all my latest stashbusting, minus the two minisweaters I made (I also made one in Sept. for Anna's teeny knitted doll Aria, using my own pattern with green and cream stripes).
Oh jeez. I just sent the pic of the rest all the rest to ther blog w/Hello...it didn't work like I thought it would. Hmph.

Explanation: The sock is my first Dulann sock, which is also my first sock, which I didn't have a pattern for. Seeing as I didn't have a pattern, it looks a little short in the foot, but other than that I think it came out fine. The new pink scarf is for Justina...I cranked it out last night. Literally. The thing behind it is what I used to make it...a barbie knitter. It works very well and I'm happy with the finished product.
Everything else I'm sure you know. Not that anyone reads this blog anyway.

And another *disclaimer* I'm too lazy to re paste the html of the different cool fonts, and right here in the window it just looks like 'font'. don't blame me if it doesn't turn out right. (although i think it will, somehow...but you just can't tell.) and if they're still a cool font but all the same or something, that's not how they are supposed to be. And another *disclaimer* Blogger is doing something with the font sizes. Sorry if it turns out all wacky, which I know it will. RRR.

**Second update** I hate blogger even more now, every single blogger blog I try to look at (including my own) says 'page cannot be displayed'.
